For our wrestpins with flat head, we use a special steel of high temper and ductility. The grinding of the raw material is strictly limited by the diameter tolerance h7. h7 = +0 / -0.012 mm.
The wrestpins with a thread or a slight cone ca be used with cylindric drill-holes. The exact diameter has to be tried out.
Colours:
blue = tempering colour varying between dark blue and anthracite.
Previously named bright-black.
bright = grey steel colour without treatment. Attention: bright pins may rust.
black = phosphated and oiled. Good rust prevention, also with the surplus oil being wiped off.
nickel-plated = nickel. Good rust prevention.
